I recently stayed on my own for business and I have to say it's one, if not the loveliest places I've stayed at for work. I had the single room in the B&B and though it was a single it didn't feel pokey at all. Comfy bed, beautiful view over the countryside with a window seat. Spotless ensuite with shower. Tea and coffee making facilities with plenty of milk for once and lovely biscuits. Really peaceful and very quiet for sleeping. Fabulous breakfast and lovely staff. I would highly recommend and already have!

I've stayed at this property several times, and it never fails to deliver. The location is perfect, and I really wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in the area. I participate in the Tough Mudder events locally, and it makes a good base to travel to and from the venue. It's very quiet, so you can get a good night's sleep, and it is quiet during the day, so you are also able to nap. I would recommend staying here to friends, family, and colleagues. It's very easy to check in and check out too.

The breakfast was lovely, and the staff were so helpful & friendly. The room was very cosy & very clean! I love the little touch with the cloth marked ‘make up remover’ as I’ve never seen that anywhere before. The views from the room I stayed in were lovely, could have sat and looked out of the window forever. It was also very quiet except when the trains went passed, however this wasn’t an issue for me & it wasn’t constant, just every so often.

This is a gem tucked away in a beautiful country side, accessed by a long private drive where sheep grazed peacefully in the pasture alongside it. It does mean that you must have a car to get here. Parking is not a problem. There is a huge comfortable sitting and dining area which opens out to superb views of rolling fields and the occasional train passing by. The breakfast was excellent and the beds comfortable. We had a wonderful stay.

Very accommodating. Kept me well informed of any issues I might have had due to the icy weather. We were also arriving very late due to the travelling time and outside of normal check in hours. However arrangements were made for us to access the room outside of usual business hours. Thank you very much.
